  • Data Accessed: We access your Google email address, basic profile information (name, profile picture) for authentication and account creation. With your explicit consent, we access email content (headers and body) to provide Talaria's core AI email client functionalities.
  • Data Usage: Your Google user data is used solely to provide and improve the Talaria email client features. This includes displaying your emails, allowing you to send/receive emails, and powering AI features like summarization, smart replies, and email organization. **We do not use your data obtained through Google Workspace APIs to develop, improve, or train generalized AI and/or ML models.** We do not use your data for unrelated purposes such as advertising.
  • Data Storage: Your Google user data, including emails processed by our AI, is stored securely using encryption at rest (e.g., AES-256) and in transit (TLS).
  • Data Sharing: We do not share your Google user data with third parties except as necessary to provide the service (e.g., with our secure cloud hosting providers who are bound by confidentiality and data protection agreements) or as required by law. We will never sell your Google user data.

Specifically, Talaria's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. This means:

  • We will only use access to read, write, modify, or control Gmail message bodies (including attachments), metadata, headers, and settings to provide a web email client that allows users to compose, send, read, and process their emails and will not transfer this Gmail data to others unless doing so is necessary to provide and improve these features, comply with applicable law, or as part of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
  • We will not use this Gmail data for serving advertisements.
  • We will not allow humans to read this data unless we have your affirmative agreement for specific messages, doing so is necessary for security purposes such as investigating abuse, to comply with applicable law, or for Talaria's internal operations and even then only when the data have been aggregated and anonymized.
